Hopefully won't be my last.

So many roads available to us as we journey through life. Our choices define us I suppose. For how was I to know who I would turn out to be without ever making a single most life-defining choice? Our choices shape us. I figured my life would be rather simple and mediocre (many of my closest friends still believe in this delusion), but soon realised that there would be nothing quite easily gained, understood or even learned.

Life is a wondrous complex mess!

I'm okay with that. Really, I am. If I had a chance to do a single thing over would I? At first there's an impulsive inkling to change many things, but in quiet contemplation I conclude to leave every little thing just...like...it is.

I met Sara. One darling lady among millions of others. I chose her, and the story began to unfold. A wonderful, complex and beautiful tale. Juggling through long-distance, cultures, airplanes, families, living arrangements, sudden illness, doctors, MRI's, operations, long-distance, physio and bio kinetics and recovery, work, finances, visas and work permits all in the brief space of one year and two months and who-knows-what more ...

I celebrate today! I have made my choice and find myself eager to discover more of the parts of me I would never otherwise come to know.

Sara truly completes the story of me.
